BISMIL-ILAAHI ASHKURUL-MUREEDAA (IN THE NAME OF ALLAH, I THANK THE MURIDS)

ﺑﺴﻢ ﺍﻹﻟـﻪ ﺃﺷﻜـﺮ ﺍﻟﻤﺮﻳـﺪﺍ ** ﻭﺃﺭﺗﺠـﻲ ﺑﻔﻀﻠـﻪ ﺍﻟﻤﺮﻳـﺪﺍ

Bismil-Ilaahi ashkurul mureedaa ** wa artajii bi fadlihi l mazeedaa

In the Name of Allah, I thank the murids (discples/followers) ** I seek increment of His virtue.

ﺳﺄﻟﺘـﻪ ﺃﻥ ﻳﺘﺤـﻒ ﺍﻟﻤﺮﻳـﺪﺍ * ﻣﻦ ﺟﻮﺩﻩ ﻣﺎ ﺃﻋﺠـﺰ ﺍﻟﻌﺪﻳـﺪﺍ

sahaltuhu an yut'hifal mureedaa ** min juudihi maa-'ajaza l 'adeedaa

I asked Him to delight the murids ** Out of His numerous benevolence.

ﻣـﻦ ﺍﻟﻌﻠـﻮﻡ ﻭﻣـﻦ ﺍﻷﺭﺯﺍﻕ * ﻓﻀﻼً ﻭﻣﻦ ﻣﺤﺎﺳﻦ ﺍﻷﺧـﻼﻕ

mina l 'uluumi wa minal arzaaqi ** fadlaan wa min mahaasini l akhlaaqi

Out of His knowledge[sciences] and of wealth ** As well as of good moral values.

ﺃﺳـﺄﻟـﻪ ﺑﺎﻟﻠﻪ ﻭﺍﻟـﺮﺣـﻤـﻦ * ﻭﺑﺎﻟﻤﻬﻴـﻤـﻦ ﻭﺑﺎﻟـﻤـﻨـﺎﻥ

As'aluhu bi-llahi wa Rahmaani ** wa bil Muhaymini wa bil Mannaani

I ask Him, by[name] Allah and by [name] Merciful ** By [name] Dominant, by[name] Beneficent.

ﻻﺣﺘﺠﺒﺖ ﻧﺤﻮ ﻏﻴﺮﻩ ﻓﻲ ﺍﻟﻌﻤﺮ * ﻓـﻼ ﺃﺭﻭﻡ ﻣـﻨـﺔ ﻟﻠﻐـﻴـﺮ

La-atajtu nahwa ghayrihi fii l 'umri ** falaa uruumu minnata lil-ghayri

I do not complain to anyone but Him in life ** And I do not need strength from anyone.

ﺇﻧـﻲ ﻋﺒﻴـﺪ ﻟﻠﻐﻨـﻲ ﺍﻟﻮﺍﻟـﻲ * ﺃﺭﺟﻮﻩ ﻟﻲ ﻭﻛﻞ ﻣـﻦ ﻳﻮﺍﻟـﻲ

Inii 'ubaydu lil-ghaniyyil waalii ** urjuuhu lii wakullu man yuwaalii

I am a slave to the Rich Leader (Allah) ** I want Him for me and for anyone He leads.

ﻫـﻮ ﺍﻟﻌﺰﻳـﺰ ﻏﻴـﺮﻩ ﺫﻟﻴـﻞ * ﻭﻫﻮ ﺍﻟﻜﺮﻳﻢ ﺍﻟﻮﺍﻫﺐ ﺍﻟﺠﻤﻴـﻞ

Huwal 'Azeezu ghayruhu dhaleelu ** wa huwal Kareemul Waahibul Jameelu

He is Superior: other than Him is inferior ** He is Generous, Bountiful and Gorgeous.

ﺃﺭﻭﻡ ﻟﻸﺣﺒـﺎﺏ ﻛـﻞ ﻳﺴـﺮ * ﻭﻟﺘﻜﻔﻬﻢ ﻳﺎ ﺭﺏ ﻛـﻞ ﻋﺴـﺮ

Uruumu lil-ahbaabi kulla yusri ** waltakfihim yaa Rabbi kulla 'usri

I seek for the lovers all easiness ** And (oh Lord!) relief on them all difficulties.

ﻻ ﺿﺮﻫـﻢ ﻓﻘـﺮ ﻭﻻ ﻳﺴﻠـﻂ * ﻋﻠﻴﻬﻢ ﺍﻷﻋﺪﺍﺀ ﻳﺎ ﻣﻦ ﻳﻘﺴـﻂ

Laa darrihum faqru walaa yusalitu ** 'alayhim l a'adaahu yaa Man yuqsitu

Do not let poverty harm them nor to let ** The enemies to overpower them, O You who delivers justice.

ﺭﻓﻌﺘﻬﻢ ﻓﻀﻼً ﺑﺬﻛﺮﻙ ﺍﻟﻌﻈﻴـﻢ *ﻓﺄﻏﻨﻬﻢ ﻃﺮﺍً ﺑﻔﻀﻠـﻚ ﺍﻟﻌﻤﻴـﻢ

rafa'atahum fadlaan bi-dhikrikal 'azeem ** faa-ghnihim turaan bi-fadlikal 'ameemin

Raise them (to a higher rank) by virtue of Your majestic remembrance ** So enrich (all of them) with Your favors.

ﺣﻤﻴﺘﻬﻢ ﻋﻦ ﺫﻛﺮ ﻛـﻞ ﻏﻴـﺮ * ﻓﺎﻣـﻸ ﻗﻠﻮﺑﻬـﻢ ﺑﻜـﻞ ﺳـﺮ

hamaytahum 'an dhikri kulla ghayri ** faa mala'a quluubahum bikulli sirri

Protect them from remembering anyone but You ** And fill their heart with all secrets.

ﻣﻠﻜﻬـﻢ ﺍﻟﺪﻳـﺎﺭ ﻭﺍﻷﻣــﻮﺍﻝ * ﻭﻧﺠﻬـﻢ ﻭﺃﻋﻄﻬـﻢ ﺃﻧـﻔـﺎﻻ

Malik'humu d dayaara wal amwaalaa ** wa najjihim wa a'atihim anfa'alaa

Let them own homes and earn money ** And grant them success and bless them with treasures.

ﺃﻗﻢ ﻭﺟﻮﻫﻬﻢ ﻟﺪﻳﻨـﻚ ﺍﻟﻘﻮﻳـﻢ * ﻭﻣﺪ ﻓﻴﻬـﻢ ﺑﻔﻀﻠـﻚ
ﺍﻟﺠﺴﻴـﻢ

aqim wujuuhahum li-deenikal qaweemi ** wa wa mudda fiihim bi-fadlikal jaseemi

Let them focus on Your rightful religion ** And extend to them Your enormous virtue.

ﻧﻠﻬﻢ ﻭﺯﺩﻫـﻢ ﺑﻘـﺪﺭ ﺻـﺪﻕ * ﻛـﻞ ﻣﺮﻳـﺪ ﻭﺑﻘـﺪﺭ ﺷـﻮﻕ

nil'hum wa zid'hum bi-qadri sidqin ** kulli mureedin wa bi-qadri shawqi

Secure them and add them according to (the) honesty ** of every murid and according to the level of (his) desire.

ﺇﻧﻲ ﺍﺭﻳﺪ ﻣﻨـﻚ ﺑـﻞ ﻭﺗﻌﻠـﻢ * ﺇﻧﻲ ﺃﺭﻳﺪ ﻣﻨﻚ ﺑـﻞ ﻭﺗﺮﺣـﻢ

Inii uriidu minka bil wa ta'alamu ** inii uriidu ba'adu bal wa tar'hamu

I seek from You, but you know ** After that I want You to have mercy [upon them].

ﻟﻚ ﻭﻣﻨـﻚ ﺛـﻢ ﻓﻴـﻚ ﻛﻠﻤـﺎ * ﻃﻠﺒﺘﻪ ﻭﺃﻧﺖ ﺗﻌﻄـﻲ ﺍﻟﺤﻜﻤـﺎ

Laka wa minka thumma fiika kaluma'a ** talabtuhu wa anta tu'utii l hikamaa

It is Yours and from You and in You all ** That I requested and it is You who gives wisdom.

ﺭﺟﻮﺕ ﺇﻧﻨﻲ ﺭﺟﻌـﺖ ﻣﻨﻜـﺎ * ﺑﻜـﻞ ﻣـﺎ ﺳﺄﻟـﺘـﻪ ﺇﻟﻴـﻜـﺎ

Rajawtu inanii raja'atu minka ** bikulli maa sa'altuhu ilaykaa

I wish that I had returned to You ** With all that I asked towards You.

ﺣﺴﻦ ﺧﻮﺍﺗﻢ ﺍﻷﻮﻟـﻰ ﻭﺍﻟﻮﻧـﺎ * ﻭﺃﻋﻄﻨﺎ ﻣـﺎ ﻓـﺎﺕ ﺍﻷﻭﻟﻴﻨـﺎ

hasin khawaatima l uulaa wa luunaa ** wa a'atinaa maa faata l awaliinaa

Make good the end of the beginning ** And grant us what has escaped our ancestors.

ﻳﺎ ﻣﻦ ﻳﺠﻴﺐ ﺩﻋﻮﺓ ﺍﻟﻤﻀﻄـﺮ * ﻓﺎﻟﺘﻜﺸﻔﻦ ﻣﺎ ﻣﺴﻨﺎ ﻣﻦ ﺿـﺮ

Yaa Man yujeebu da'awatu l mudtari ** faltakshifan maa masanaa min durrin

O You the One who answers the prayer of the one afflicted with harm ** Relieve the harm that afflicted us.

ﻣﺼﻠﻴﺎُ ﻋﻠﻰ ﺍﻟﻨﺒﻲ ﺍﻟﻤﺼﻄﻔـﻰ * ﻭﺁﻟــﻪ ﻣﺴﻠـﻤـﺎً ﻣﺸـﺮﻓـﺎ

Musaliyaan 'alaa n nabbiyil Mustafaa ** wa aalihi muslimaan musharafaan

I pray upon the chosen Prophet ** And His Muslim and honored household (family).

Ameen thumma Ameen!!!
